Freehand art, meet Halbert Hare!

Hello to all.  I have just finished my first hand drawn and hand coloured image.
This is Halbert Hare and he is now on a card!
I used Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils and I am so pleased with how this hare has turned out.
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you would have seen him as a work in progress.

I have not attempted freehand drawing before and was delighted as he began to take shape.  It was so much fun creating his face, features and fur!  I used Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils for the drawing and a touch of white gel pen for highlights.

Materials used to draw and colour this image
Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencil used to create this hare:Espresso, Timberwood, Saddle Brown, Cinnamon, Cider, Maple, Pewter, Pebble, Bark, Stone, Black.
White gel pen.
Materials for card:Black Matt Card, Kraft Card, Sheena Stamping Card
Sara Signature paper and Hessian.
Sentiment Leonie Pujol.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Happy Mother's Day to all of you in the UK who celebrate this.
Hope you enjoy your day!

So thrilled and delighted that this card was included in The Best of 2017 (Favorites) on Splitcoaststampers.  You can view this card on the Splicoaststampers 2017 favorites board here!   Many thanks to all of the ladies for their support throughout the year!
