Onto my card for our new Challenge.  I have really enjoyed making this card and keepsake box.  I have been talking about making another 3D shoe for ages and thought that this challenge would be a good opportunity to run with my idea.

I have recently found a website by Carlos N Molina which is inspirational and provides a tutorial on how to produce a shoe.    For further info click on Tutorials and videos and hit on the paper shoe at the bottom of the page.

List of Materials used to make this card  and keepsake box :o)

Centura Pearl Card - lots.  Pink glitter card - 12 x 12.  Fabulous flocked black and white paper which my daughter gave me for Christmas and I have been keeping for a special project.

Variety of cutting die shapes made with Spellbinder and Cheery Lynn Dies.

Flowers, leaves, ribbon, pearls and sentiments from my stash.

The shoe on the card is made using a digital stamp from Scrapbook Sisters - Wedding Shoe  and I have used the technique paper piecing to create the shoes.  The papers are from Kaisercraft and some black glitter card stock.  Decorations are further leaves and flower from my stash.

On the box I have used matching Kaisercraft Papers to make the shoe and the shoe template is from Chocolate Baroque.  I have used ribbons, flowers, feathers in black and pink, and a lovely little white tassel.  The heel on the shoe is created from white wire and pink and white beads, with a few sliver beads.  I have twisted the beads to form the heel and provide support for the shoe.

This is a picture of the front of the card showing the printed image on the paper pieces.

Butterfly Extravaganva with Flourish

Hello and happy day to everyone.  I hope this finds you well.  We continue to have wet and cold weather here but I don't care.  I did a lot of colouring in the week and need to dedicated time to making up some cards.  Life is hard.

List of Materials used to make this card  :o)

Fabulous image from Woopsi Daisy Sheet 342.  I follow the Whoopsi Daisy blog and when this sheet was posted I fell in love with this image and one of the others and had to have it.  Watch this space for the other image which is adorable.

Image printed onto Joanna Sheen Elegance Satin Card and coloured using Promarker, Flexmarker Pens and Prismacolour Pencils.  Chalks have been used to colour the sky and all edges have been distressed with ink.  The ribbon is white seam binding and I have dyed this using the ink to match the card.

The card base has been punched using my Martha Stewart punch and the image mounted onto fabulous Spring Delight  digital papers from Bearly Mine Designs.  This has been printed onto Joanna Sheen Elegance Satin Paper and the quality of the image is fabulous.  I have also used a die cut butterfly panel which I recently purchased.  This has also been distressed and is glittered.

Magnolia Die Cut Butterflies have also been used to decorate the card cut from Core'dinations Glitter Card.  The flowers are fabric and from Marianne Designs and a gorgeous gem flourish has been used.  I have found some lovely little beaded flourishes in my stash which I had forgotten about and this has been used to decorated the ribbon.

I would like to enter this card for the following Challenges :o)

Image showing the inside of this card.  I have again used the fabulous Bearly Mine Design  Paper and have created a little pocket to hold a greeting tag - You're so Special....  Further inked ribbon has been used.  On the other page I have mounted a 3d daisy stamped image on a Spellbinder Die.  Doilies from my stash have been Ink Stained and used.  Also further Magnolia Butterfly glitter die cuts.

Yuki Onna Art by Mitzi Satu-Wuiff

It's another sunny Saturday afternoon, a bit cool but very sunny and I love to see it.  We have some tiny trees in my tiny garden and the Ornamental Cherry Tree has just shed its blossom like pretty snow petals and the Morello Cherry is in full bloom.  This image was chosen  to make a card inspired by my lovely tiny trees.
The image is Yuki Onna and its a beautiful and haunting image.  I have used a spring theme for the colouring of the image and I hope it has worked.  I am really enjoying working with the 3d butterflies I have in my stash.  I think they bring a grace and beauty to the card which reflects the subject used.

List of Materials used to make this card :o)

12 x 12 cardstock plain and 12 x12 cardstock oriental print.

Image is printed onto gloss card and coloured using Promarker and Flexmarker Pens and Prismacolour Pencils and glitter.

Lots of embellishments have been used to decorate this card.  Flowers and oriental cutout and mini kimono from my stash.  My new crystal bling corners,  3D butterfly embellishments, ribbon, die cut tag and mini wooden oriental Good Luck Greeting stick.

The card is a Z shaped card which allows lots of room for decoration.  I have used the same image on the middle and outside of the card.
