Further details of my cards published in Digital Crafting Essential Magazine.

Hello to everyone.  I hope this finds you well on this very dark, cold and wet morning.
Hoping the weather is more settled where you are.

I am back with my other two cards which were published recently in Digital Crafting Essentials Magazine.  I had the most exciting day yesterday and was quite overwhelmed with all the lovely new developments.  So a more settled day for me today.  Can I say thank you so much to those of you who left messages both on Blogger and Facebook.  I was so touched by your support and good wishes.  It really is appreciated.

My first card is a Z fold card using the so sweet Mulberry Wood images and papers.

The images and papers for this card are available on the free CD-ROM supplied with the Magazine.

Down the Rabbit Hole GDT for Simply Steampunk Challenges

Hello to everyone.  I hope this finds you well.
I am so honoured and delighted to have been given a GDT spot for Simply Steampunk Challenges.
I so admire the work of this very talented DT and it was such fun to play along.
Many thanks to Betty and Corrine for this fabulous opportunity.
I really have enjoyed crafting with this beautiful artwork 'Down the Rabbit Hole' from Abigail Larson which is part of the new release available here.  I think this project makes a fabulous Halloween decoration.

This wonderful image set me off on a trail.
We all know Alice and some facts but I wanted to get it as right as I could.

List of Materials used to make this card:

Beautiful image coloured using my Spectrum Noir Pens and Frantage detail.

List of Spectrum Noir Colours used:
Skin:  FS1, FS4, CR1, CR2
Hair:  CT1, CT2, CT4, GB4
Dress and Tights:  HB1, HB2, HB3, LG2,LG3, LG4, BG1, BG3
Branches:  TN2, TN5, TN8.

The base of the project is a Top Hat which I have made using my Crafter's Companion Ulti-Boxes Board,  distressed to give a shabby chic look.
DP is foiled and from my stash.
Lots of Alice related items which I have collected over the last few days in my travels through Alice Land.
The bottle tags are fabulous freebies on distressed kraft.
The mini bottle is a diffuser bottle.
I found the vintage style playing cards on the net and made the tag for my hat in the style of the Mad Hatter's label.
Lot of Tim Holtz Distress ink detail has been used and edges have been distressed to give shabby chic look.
Die Cut Clock face made with a Marianne Die with the hands frozen at tea time - 6pm.
Feather, ribbon, pins, charms and other materials are from my stash.

Another view of this fabulous image with some of the design elements I have used.
The birds nest is not Alice related but I love it.
We found it in one of the birdhouses my husband had put up, you can just see the sweet little eggs.  It had been abandoned for some reason, we thought it might have been put up to close to the feeders.   My daughter has it in the glass cloche and she has also claimed this project as part of her Halloween decoration.

Thank you so much for reading this post and looking at my project.
