Hello and Happy Sunday to everyone. I hope this finds you well and enjoying your week-end.
My card 'Bella Bride' won the 'Something New with Pink' Challenge at Quirky Crafts Challenge and I was very excited to be asked to be Guest Designer for the Challenge
'Life is a Box of Chocolates'.
The challenge is to be strictly non digi, it is a stamping challenge, although drawing, doodling, die cuts can be used.
Please show stamped/die cut/fimo/drawn (real?) chocolates on your project.
The colour scheme is chocolate and cream.
The Sponsor for this Challenge is Cracker Box Palace.
This is my creation.
We have been asked to show the stamps that we used. Please see below.
List of materials used to make this card.
I decided to make a chocolate box. I used an embossed 12" x 12" sheet of Kanban Cream card to make the box. I cut a top and bottom using my Spellbinder Heart Die, which is so usefully. I then cut two strips of 2" card and folder a 0.5" lip and attached to top and bottom to form the Heart Shaped Box.
I made die cut Spellbinder Roses using Kanban embossed card which really looks like creamy chocolate and sprinkled these with Flower Soft.
I stamped and embossed some feather stamps from Design Elements by Ceative Expressionsand used these for decoration.
Leaves are created using a Joy Craft Die and the Kanban cream card distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Inks.
I then added the lovely Magnolia Tilda with Ballet Shoes, coloured in a mixture of chocolate and cream shades, my favourite colours of the moment using my Promarker and Copic Pens and mounted her on a Kaisercraft Vintage style label.
Glitter crystal Butterfly, pins, doily, ribbons, lace, pearls in centre of roses and charms are all from my stash.
I stamped and embossed the 'I Love You' Greeting and distressed with Vintage Photo Ink. The die cut is again Spellbinder Heart Die.
Chocolates are real and I enjoyed them, I shared a few with my lovely OH.
I would like to enter his card in the following Challenges:
