Following on from my post of yesterday and my Redonkulous Card which my daughter had requested for a Wedding she is attending in Santa Monica, I had also promised a gift bag to match.
Suzanne has not actually seen this as yet as she is working today and will be calling in on Thursday morning to collect her card before she sets out.
When we had our lovely evening on Monday I mentioned that I had some gift bags ordered and that I would make a matching one for her if they arrived before she set off.
These arrived this morning so my task for this afternoon was to make the gift bag.
I have not made one of these before and they look lovely when decorated.
I have used the same Wedding Couple image from Redonkulous Designs and similar flowers and ribbon. I have mounted the Spellbinder die cut on a panel I embossed using a butterfly mask and this has been inked with distress inks. Then mounted on Kaisercraft and Papermania Papers.
My daughter had specifically asked me not to make this to decorated - a challenge for me - so I just added some bling and some die cut corners and I hope she likes it.
A reminder of yesterdays card. It is so difficult to photograph the glittered acetate details. The card is now resting in its own box.
I have decorated the outside of the box with matching flowers and ribbons and this will sit in the gift bag. So much fun.
I will definitely be decorating more of these little bags.
Thank you for reading my waffle and looking at my creations.
Hugs to all.
