Christmas Splendor Easel Card

Hello to all, me again I am afraid.  This is the second in the series of vintage style cards which I have been making.  This wonderful image is again found on  http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.co.uk/ and I have imported the image to Photobucket and done some work and voila.  The pictures here do not do the detail justice.  I have used Autumn shades of browns, creams and golds to reflect the turn of the year.

List of materials used to make this card:

Centura Pearl cardstock for card base.
Wonderful Designer Papers from Live and Love Crafts - my favourite place for Designer Papers at the moment.   This is Stars and Sparkles and is by FabScraps.
There is also layer in Forever Santa.
Wonderful vintage image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps.
Pearls, ribbon, feathers, gold glittered leaves, gauze, glittered gold Prima flowers and gauze are all from my stash.
Die cut doily from Cheery Lynn Designs.
Lots of Tim Holtz Distress Ink has been used on all borders and die cut details.

I have made this card as an easel card.  This is not only one of my favourite styles of cad but allows more of the delicious designer paper and detail to be displayed.

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:

Further detail of the base of the card showing Marianne die cut tree and Memory Box die cut snowflakes with pearls from my stash.

That's it for me at the moment.  I have some more lovely images to mount on cards so watch this space if you like vintage style cards.

Sending lots of hugs to all.

Hi Laine,
Stunning vintage Easel card ( I haven't made one of those in ages, they're so fun to make as there's so much space to decorate :-)). It looks so classy and elegant, and I love the layering and the use of feathers. Also very creative work with the die cuts. Thanks so much for joining LLC for the October challenge (sorry I'm so late commenting) and I hope we'll see you again this month!

Hugz,
