Hello to all. Another fun filled afternoon for me when I should have been doing other things. I have been looking for ideas for various types of cards and came across a tutorial for a lovely Box Book Card from McMahon Five Designs. The tutorial is very clear and easy to follow and I really enjoyed making this card.
I have used a sheet of wonderful foiled images from Hunkydory to create the focus for the card. The backing paper is Ode to Joy which came from my stash. The die cuts are Die-namics cutting dies and using gold mirror card. The roses reflect the colours and sentiment of the card and there is a blank matching topper for recording of a sentiment. The ribbon used throughout the card is pink American seam binding from my stash.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Showing the back of the card with matching foiled image and die cuts.
The inside of the card showing further images and die cuts and decorated 'book' insert.
Inside of the book card showing 'pages' and images and decoration. I have had such fun making this card, matching the images and colours. Thank you for reading this post. I hope you like the card.
Sending warmest wishes to you all.
