Monochrome Pencil Horse Sketch!

Hello to all.  I was inspired to do a 

 bit of freehand sketching yesterday afternoon by a challenge on Splitcoaststampers.   

I have drawn a horse using an HB pencil.    

It was loads of fun to create this and add depth and shadow with the pencil.

I used the Spectrum Noir Premium Pencil Paper and it was fabulous to sketch on. Blending was done with my finger and it all smudged beautifully!

The picture looks a bit blue toned but IRL is sharp and clear black/grey and white.   I had forgotten how much I loved to sketch and its great to get a bit more practice.  

Hope you like my horse sketch, looks like a mare to me!  What do you think?

Subtle Foxgloves!

Hello to all!  A delicate Foxglove colouring with the new watercolour Spectrum Noir ColourTint graphite pencils.   I have tried to create a hazy soft watercolour effect. The image is stamped in Distress Ink and blended with pencils!

Wild Rose on Kraft!

Hello to all.  Sharing a colouring of a Wild Rose stamp embossed and coloured onto Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Card.  This really produces a natural rustic look with  Spectrum Noir ColourTint graphite pencils.

Autumnal Bouquet!

Hello to all.  My share for today features one of the fabulous digital stamps from Power Poppy.  I have used the new Spectrum Noir ColourTint pencils to colour the image without water.  I love the effect that this has created.

Here the sweet Poppy stamp has been heat embossed onto Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Card with white embossing powder. The pigment has been painted onto the kraft card and it looks fabulous!

Its quite amazing how the colour pigments change when a tiny amount of water is added.
