Happy sunny Saturday to everyone. Its lovely and sunny here, a perfect Autumn afternoon.
Today's card features the fabulous 'Whispy a Fairy' image from Saturated Canary and can be found here. I think you will agree she is very beautiful. I have as usual got carried away with making this card. The idea for the double pocket diagonal fold card can be found here.
I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:
The card has been made from one sheet of 12" x 12" paper from my stash and folded as per the instructions above. The edges of the paper have been distressed and lace trim and ribbon have been added to the pockets. The lovely image from Saturated Canary has been coloured mostly using FlexMarker pens, which I am loving more and more and detail has been added with ProMarker pens. Various cutting dies have been used to include Spellbinders for cutting image and spotted rose decoration and leaves. Frosty border from Memory Box, flourishes from Die-namics, small tag from Magnolia Do Hickey Dies and snowflakes from Marianne Designs Creatables.
The large tag has several die cuts and a stamped panel from Butterfly Kisses. Other flowers and embellishments are from my stash.
Showing closer detail of the front image 'Whisy a Fairy' from Saturated Canary and die cut spotted rose and leaves.
This is the inside of the card with greeting panel and coloured and glittered 'Whispy a Fairy' image. Further die cuts have been used using similar cutting dies to front of card.
Showing front of the card with small gold mirror card tag with Happy Christmas greeting and larger stamped verse topper with decoration.
Thank you for reading this post. I hope you liked this card. I have really enjoyed making this.
Sending warmest wishes to all
