Happy days to all, its cool here today. Today's card features the lovely image Holly the Friendhship Fairy from Michelle Perkett which can be found here.
I have made a 'Book Card', this is a technique I have used before but have used the tutorial provided here. I am pleased with the size of the end card which is almost a 6" x 6".
I would like to enter this card for the following Challenges:
The image has been coloured using ProMarker Pens and has been glittered. I have used various papers from my stash. Die cuts are Dienamics and edge details using a Martha Stewart punch with distressed edges - Vintage Photo from Tim Holtz. Flowers and peel offs are from my stash. I have tried to create a vintage feel to this card. There is a metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Card shown from the side showing 'Book' detail, ribbon tie and die cut edges.
Showing detail of the outside of the 'Book' with decoration. Lovely foiled paper has been used.
The inside of the card showing the 'Book' detail. A foiled panel has been used. There is also a plain die cut panel for recording of a greeting.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post, thank you so much for taking the time which is much appreciated.
Sending warmest wishes to all.
