Giving Thanks!

Hello lovely people.  Sharing a cute image and card for Whimsy Stamps!   This sweet digital stamp is A Girl and Her Pumpkin, printed onto kraft paper and coloured with Polychromos pencils.

I have made a card to celebrate this time of year when we think about giving thanks for the harvest and all that nature provides. 
I am enjoying working on kraft paper and designing with corrugated card and burplap sheets.  
They create such an earthy wholesome effect.

The digital paper used is Autumn Beauty from Whimsy Stamps.  This has been printed and cut to size.

Various die cuts in corrugated paper and burlap have been used to decorate the card and a flower from my stash.

Joyous Christmas Mail.

Hello to all.  I am sharing a sweet festive card for Whimsy Stamps.

This adorable digital stamp is Pretty Girl Happy Mail from the Whimsy Stamps new digital stamps release. The image is coloured with markers and pencils. 

 The digital paper is from the Christmas Azure collection. I wanted a lilac paper so digitally changed the blue azure to lilac.

The sentiment is from the Penguin Sentiments set linked below.

Steampunk Dream!

Hello to all.  Its time for the Aurora Wings Challenge with the Stella DT bringing you inspiration.  

This months theme is Once upon a Dream or a Nightmare. A fabulous theme for the Halloween season! 

I have coloured this amazing steampunk style image.

It suggested several themes to me.  

The first was steampunk because of her style and steampunk elements.

I decided to make a decorated top hat and use this as the 

base to display this fabulous image.

The second theme was vintage and I added various features to the photograph to provide a vintage feel and look.

The third theme was vampires.  The image reminds me of the character Claudia in 'Interview with the Vampire' by Ann Rice. Trapped as an eternal child she walks through the ages. You can feel her pathos, although she is indeed a monster!

Black card, embossed with a folder, gilded and made into a top hat shape.

Various Crafter's Companion Steampunk cutting dies all cut from Black card and distressed with gilding wax.

Red flowers and white tulle ribbon and bow.

Hello lovely people.  I am sharing a festive side stepper card for Whimsy Stamps.

This adorable digital stamp is Scruffy Cat from the Whimsy Stamps new digital stamps release.

The papers used are from the Chrismas Red, Gold and Green digital papers.

Materials used:

Beautiful digital stamp coloured with Polychromos pencils and white gel pen on kraft paper.
Shaped kraft card base with designer papers cut to fit.
Square cutting dies for stamp and panel from John Next Door.
Embossed star stamps with Versamark and powder.
Die cut snowflakes and tree using silver glitter paper.
Cute star shaped mini peg detail.

Hello to all.  Sharing a project for Little Blue Button Stamps featuring one of the new release digital stamps for September. This is Sick and Tired!   I thought she would make a great get well soon card!

The image is printed onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper and coloured with pencils, Polychromos, Prismacolor and Holbein. 

A digital sentiment was generated.

Sequins and various designer papers and kraft layers complete the card.

Hello lovely people.  Sharing a cute image and card for the the new release from Whimsy Stamps!

This adorable digital stamp is Penguin Elves at the Workshop. 

The sweet stamp is coloured with markers (Copic and Spectrum Noir) and Polychromos and Holbein pencils.  There is some white gel pen detail.

Image is printed onto Strathmore Bristol card and mounted onto white textured card layers.
