Fun with the Blender pen!

Hello to everyone.  My card share features the lovely image, Mermaid of Star, from A Day for Daisies.  I am particularly fond of this image and have tried to colour her to reflect the shades of the ocean.  I have used the blender pen to create definition and texture on this image and you will find a fabulous tutorial on the Spectrum Noir blog using this technique.

List of materials used to make this card:

Shaped card base
DP from my stash painted with Gesso through the blue bubble trellis used on the card.
Image is Mermaid of Star from A Day for Daisies
Spectrum Noir markers used:
Skin:  FS2, FS4, TN2
Tail and hair:  TB2, TB2, IBI, BT1, BT2, CG1, CG2,  DG2, blender pen
Fran-tage Shabby Blue
Spellbinders frame die
Floral swirl die
Die cuts, ribbon, cheese-cloth, pearl ribbon and flowers from my stash.

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:

Just a quick reminder of the July Spectrum Noir Challenge - Summer.  We would be so pleased if you joined us using your Spectrum Noir markers and//or pens.  Here is the link.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post and look at my card.

Sending hugs to all from,

X
