I have been asked to Guest Design for Twisted Tuesday Challenge and am so pleased and delighted to provide a design card for the Challenge which is:
"Eyelet" You Have the Key to My Heart.
The Challenge this week has a picture inspiration and the twist is use an eyelet somewhere on your project. Thank you so much for asking me to contribute Ladies.
I had also been asked to make an engagement card for a friend to give to her niece. I hope this card fits both purposes.
List of materials used to make this card:
Wonderful image 'You and Me' from Tiddly Inks can be found here.
Card stock is 6" x 6" Centura Pearl from Crafter's Companion. I have again used my favourite colour tones at present which are browns with a highlight colour. In this card I have used creams. I have used black glitter card for the die cut heart which is a Cheery Lynn Die.
Design paper is from my stash as is the sentiment banner.
Lace, flowers, 3 ribbons, pearls and metal to make key and lock are from my stash.
Key and lock die cuts are made using a Tim Holtz Die and the metal had been embossed by me before I cut the shapes.
I have made a hidden Engagement Label which has been die cut and decorated with ribbons.
All card and paper edges have been distressed using Vintage Photo Distress Ink from Tim Holtz.
Lace is also inked.
A view of the inside of the card showing design papers and matching die cut heart. Again all edges have been distressed with ink.
I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:
Thank you for reading this post and looking at my card.
Sending hugs to all.
