Happy Day to everyone. This is my first post Christmas card and I have so enjoyed making it. I have had a real problem with my blog over the last week or so and have had shrinking of both the header and background on my blog.
The image for the card is Born of Blossoms Fairy from a Day for Daisies and this has been coloured using Pro Marker and Flex Marker pens and detailed with Stickles glitter.
A variety of cutting dies have been used to frame the image and to add detail. The Sweetheart Frame from Cheery Lynn Designs has been used round the image and is coloured with Tim Holtz distress ink and glittered. The butterfly is Small Lace Faerie Queen from Cheery Lynn Designs and I have made the little roses using a Cheery Lynn Design Die. The flourish is from Dies to Die For. The ribbons are from the Ribbon Girl -Vintage Seam Binding and the lace and shiny ribbon is from my stash. The card measures just under 6" x 6". I have made the Envelobox to fit the card and have decorated with lovely HOTP matching paper and some die cut elements.
I would like to enter this card for the following Challenge:
A closer look at the sweet image and the lovely die cuts which are a joy to work with. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
A side view of the card showing the matching inside with die cut panel and decorated Envelobox.
The inside of the card has been decorated with HOTP matching paper. This page features the Sweetheart Frame from Cheery Lynn Designs which I have coloured on inside hearts only and glittered centres of hearts.
This is the matching Envelobox which has some die cut embellishments and HOTP paper to match card.
I hope you like this card. I am hoping to make more this week as it is my passion and joy. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Sending Warmest Wishes to All.
