Shabby/Chic Button Jar!

Hello to all.  I have some fabulous clear plastic jars which hold my buttons.
They looked a bit bare sitting on the shelf, so I have added some fun shabby/chic detail.
They look so pretty now!

List of materials used for this project:
Stamp Perfect Peony - Crafter's Companion
Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils.
Watercolour card, kraft card and Sara Signature Shabby/chic papers all from Crafter's Companion.
Lace, ribbon and little flowers from my stash.

The jar was full of sweets and given to my DH.
This and several others were emptied over a period of time.
They make perfect containers for my button collection.

The image was stamped onto watercolour card and painted with the AquaBlend pencils.  Distress Ink was applied.
The topper was mounted onto layers of kraft card and designer paper.
I put a ribbon tie between the watercolour and kraft laters.
Decoration was added with a die cut flower and butterfly.

The metal lid was softened with layers of kraft card and designer paper.
Lace was added round the edge of the lid.
A decorative bow with butterfly was added.

Happy crafting fun to all!

Pretty Birdie!

Hello to all.
Sharing some stamping samples with the new Crafter's Companion stamps and Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils.

I love the vividness of this sample.  Little Birdie coloured with AquaBlend Primaries.  The 'Splatter Technique' is used to created texture and detail for the background.

Here the AquaBlend Essentials are used to colour this sweet image.

The stamp has been stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with gold powder which is heat set.  The watercolour pigment from the Spectrum Noir Florals has been used to introduce colour.

Find your Wings is a beautiful stamp and is coloured with AquaBlend Naturals pencil set.

Happy crafting fun to all!

Fabulous Florals!

Hello to all.  Sharing some of the new Crafter's Companion stamps coloured with Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils.
These are the floral options in the stamp range and I have tried to show the different results which can be obtained using the AquaBlend pencil sets.

This colouring is so soft and beautiful and shows one of the sentiments included in the Perfect Peony stamp set.  For this colouring the Floral AquaBlends have been used.

Again using the Florals set a no-lines colouring is created.  This is one of my favourite colourings of this set!

Here the  Essential AquaBlend pencils have been used to create a monochrome colour effect.

Showing these wonderful watercolour pigment pencils used to colour this sweet image.
I use a small paintbursh lightly dipped in water and lightly lift the pigment from the pencil point and apply to a stamped image which has had a light water wash.

The AquaBlend Primaries create the wonderful depth of colour and tone for this Beautiful Bloom image.

Happy crafting fun to all!
