Elegant Lily!

Hello to all.  I have a confession to make.  I have a serious pencil colouring addiction (you may have noticed).
The more I use them, the more I love them!

I am trying to vary my mediums and use markers or watercolours but I keep going back to pencils.
I love the precise detail and the tone you can achieve.

This project made for The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge features another image from the Coloriage Wild pad.
These are delicious and so much fun to colour.

Pencils used are Faber Castell Polychromos.

Spring Floral Colours!

Hello to all!  I have been colouring this sweet image from the Coloriage Wild pad by Emmanuelle Colin over the past couple of days.
I am completely in love with her drawings!

This project has been coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and a touch of white gel pen detail.
Blending solution (Spectrum Noir) has been used for the skin tones and it creates a smooth and creamy finish.
The images from this colouring book are quite large (approx 7.5'' x 7.5'') and don't really need much embellishment.

The image after colouring and with no added embellishment.
This would look lovely mounted and framed.

Showing the actual image.
The light was dreadful yesterday and the pictures have a slightly grey/cream tinge.
In real life the image is crisp, clean and bright!

This is a picture of the work in progress made for The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge.
Another day with really bad light!

Starting Christmas 2018!

Hello to all.  Hope you are all keeping well in this dreadful weather.
I have had a busy couple of days.
My old computer decided to die and I have purchased a new one and in the process of uploading all of my packages etc onto this new system, fun (not)!!!!
Its amazing how many apps and passwords you need in your daily crafting life!

The sweet image is from LeeHIllustrations on etsy and will be added to my Christmas card stash for 2018.  The stamp is coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.  A colour resist has added with white gel pen to create the highlight details. Twine and elements are from my stash.

Happy crafting fun to all!

Going Coloriage Wild!

Hello to all.  My card share for today features one of the beautiful images from the Coloriage Wild colouring pad by Emmanuelle Colin (thank you Santa!).
This pad is choc full of cute, fabulous images printed on superior quality papers.  A complete and utter joy to colour!

A real spring thing going on here, so the colours are bright and beautiful.
The new Daily Marker 30 day Challenge has just started on FB and Instagram.
I coloured this last night so that I could join in.
Materials used:
Coloriage Wild - Emmanuelle Colins
Faber Castelle Polychromos Pencils
Green backing card and colourful dots.
White dots are made by dabbing with rubber masking gum which was removed after colouring (a sort of reverse bokeh effect).

I can't tell you how delighted I am with this book and will be sharing lots more colourings as I get back into the swing of things.

Happy crafting fun to all!

Sending Happy New Year wishes to all.  I hope your festive season went well.
Following some unpleasant pre-Christmas germs and a full festive period I have been absent and not crafting, shock!
I hope to remedy that soon.
Santa has been kind and provided some really lovely crafting supplies.
Hope you got lots of festive goodies and managed to avoid the lurgy!

Sharing a pretty in pink card, featuring a Cherry Green stamp or two and Spectrum Noir pencils.
This would make a great card for a special Valentine.
