Watercolour Variety

Hello to all.  Stamps are so very versatile.  

 A few floral stamps can be used to create a variety of interesting and colourful projects.

Here the new floral stamps from Stacey Barras, recently launched by Crafter's Companion on Hochanda have been coloured with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers and AquaBlend pencils.   

Different effects are created, suitable for many occassions.

The bright colours catch the eye and create delicate CAS creations.

Using the smaller stamps from two of the sets.

A simple white embossing and colouring with AquaBlend pencils creates a shabby/chic feel.

Bands of colour have been extended out from the stamped image to create a diverse and colourful background.  

Stonger colour definition is added to the stamp. 

I had loads of fun creating these colouring samples to show that your stamps can be used in many ways.

Bright and beautiful birds!

Hello to all.  Sharing more sweet Stacey Barras stamps. 

 These are being launched on Hochanda by Crafter's Companion later today!

 I was so pleased to be asked to make some colouring samples with these stamps.

 This is a Spectrum Noir Aqua marker colouring with lots of eye-catching colour detail!

Spectrum Noir Aqua markers used:
Essentials: Spice, Lime, Moss,
Nature: Sea Green, Kingfisher
Primary: Aquamarine, Teal, Yellow, Gold
Floral: Begonia, Blossom, Bud Green, Meadow

Image is mounted onto black matt card.

Showing the versatility of these lovely stamps.  Images above are from the same stamp set coloured with Spectrum Noir Aqua Blend pencils - Essentials.  

The pencils are lovely and creamy to work with and the background of the image has been given a light coat of clear sparkle.

Watercolour florals!

Hello to all.  I was asked to colour some samples for the brand new stamp range being launched by Crafter's Companion on Hochanda later this week.  

The stamps, featuring the beautiful artwork of Stacey Barras, come in a variety of floral and bird designs.

These have been a delight to colour with my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers.

These really are such pretty stamps and watercolour so well.

My coloured samples were layered onto Coredinations and Black mat cardstock.

Spectrum Noir Aqua markers used:
Essentials: Moss, Slate
Nature: Sea Green
Primary: Yellow, Gold, Aquamarine
Floral: Bud Green, Meadow, Marigold

Groovin' 60's Style

Hello to all.   Sharing a colourful decorated notebook using the fabulous Sheena Douglass Goovin 60's range.  Lots of colouring fun!

Easter Duckling!

Hello to all!   I have had my pencils out and been drawing again! 
I would like to share an Easter Card made with this sweet free-hand/hand-drawn duckling!  I thought he was a perfect image for Easter and so much fun to colour with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils.
 I really am enjoying drawing and you will probably see more creations soon.  
Its so exciting to see them just appear on the page.  

Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils used: 

Daffodil, Bumblebee, Shamrock, Grass, Copper, Driftwood, Coconut, Maize, Maple, Cedarwood, Canary, Jade, Black, Smoke, Cider, Reef Blue.
Other materials:
CC Kraft Card, Centura Pearl A4 sheet to form easel card Base.
Design Papers, fence die and hessian strip from Sara Signature Collections
Flowers, sentiment and DI for fence are from my stash.

Hello to all.  Sharing a bright and cheering creation featuring items from Leonie Pujol.   I  loved having a creative play with these stamps, folders and die cuts.

Colourful Flowers!

Hello to all.  Sharing a sweet colouring for the Spectrum Noir April Colour Challenge. 
The challenge is Anything Goes but to be eligable for the prize you must follow the challenge theme!  
 The theme for this month is Think Spring!  
This lovely digi stamp is from Power Poppy.

Turtle with foils.

Hello to all.  Sharing an undersea scene featuring the Spectrum Noir metallic pencils and Crafter's Companion Foils and Transfers.  I have used embossing folders to create a wave and bubble background, lightly applied glue and then foil.  I really enjoyed making this project.
