Colorista Z-Fold Fun!

Hello to all.  A fun Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark Z-Fold card to share.  I have used a couple of coloured Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark - Exquisite Flowers - Premium Paper Pad sheets and the wonderful Colorista Metallic Pencils.  These delicious goodies have now been launched in the UK!

The image above shows the complete card showing the front image with die cut detail and a peak at the image on the back of the gatefold.

Front of the card when closed over showing the rich pencil colouring and the shading effects you can create by blending various shades of these wonderful pigments.

The back of the z-fold showing a similar image from the Exquisite Floral pad.  The pencils have again been blended to create shade and depth to the petals.  The colours of the pencil pigments complement each other beautiful.

This panel is the inside of the z-fold and mirrors the front and back of the card.  

I loved creating this card and colouring these fabulous images.

Colorista Dark - Decorated Notebook Front!

Hello to all.  Sharing a decorated Notebook Front featuring a page from the fabulous Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark - Under the Sea Premium Pencil Pad and the Colorista Metallic Pencils.  
These will be launching in the UK from Monday.   

The pads and pencils are so very versatile and can be used for a wide variety of projects.

Here the colourings and die cuts have been highlighted with the use of pink tones and ribbon.  

Texture has been added to the backing papers with embossing folders.

Colorista Dark - Under the Sea!

Sharing a sweet Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark colouring featuring a page from the Under the Sea Premium Pencil Pad and the wonderful Spectrum Noir Colorista Metallic pencils.  These will be launched on  Hochanda in the UK from Monday, 27th February – you’ll see it live on Hochanda in the evening! The range will make its US debut on HSN Wednesday, 8th March.   
I have really enjoyed working with these and creating the samples to share with you!

This was a delight to colour.  

The black background of the page was coloured with the silver metallic pencil. 

The image was mounted on matt silver mirror card and onto an embossed and gilded Textures folder -Waves. 

 I have tried to keep the Under the Sea theme going throughout the card using die cuts to mimic waving undersea flowers and foliage.

Dreaming of summer days!

Hello to all.  Spring is just around the corner in this part of the world and I can't stop dreaming of summer days.  With this in mind I have coloured the sweet Sparkler image from Mo Manning and given her a beach type theme and lovely summery colours!  

The beautiful image reminds me so much of my elder daughter when she was a girl, such lovely memories!

Colorista Dark Seahorse Memory Box!

Hello to all.  Sharing an altered memory box featuring the Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark - Under the Sea Premium Paper Pads and the fabulous Spectrum Noir Metallic Pencils.   
These are soon to be launched on Hochanda in the UK from Monday, 27th February – you’ll see it live on Hochanda in the evening! The range will make its US debut on HSN Wednesday, 8th March. 
  

 I have decorated a basic memory box.
It was painted with black gesso, gilding wax, glitter and mica flakes were added.  
 All of the panels were decorated with Colorista Dark -Under the Sea pages, coloured with the metallic pencils. 
Such a fun project!

You can clearly see in these pictures the quality of the embossed resist detail and the fabulous sheen of these rich and creamy metallic pencils.  

The images are scrummy and you are spoiled for choice throughout this delicious pad.

The top and each of the sided of the box have been decorated with these lovely papers.   Mats of embossed and gilded black card have been used to mount the side images and sequins added to all panels.

Colorista Dark and Delightful!

Hello to all.  I was delighted to be able to work with the new Spectrum Noir Colorista Dark embossed pads and the stunning Spectrum Noir Colorista Metallic pencils.

 This exciting range will be available in the UK from Monday, 27th February – you’ll see it live on Hochanda in the evening! The range will make its US debut on HSN Wednesday, 8th March. 
There are three new 16-page pencil pads.  Two are 6″x6″ and one is a tag-shaped pad, all of which feature artist-quality black paper with thick-spot UV.

The metallic pencils are packaged in a 12-pencil tin. They create a dramatic effect on the black paper designs, with beautiful shimmering results

This project features one of the Colorista Dark pages, coloured with the metallic pencils.  

The Background is created with silver metallic pencil. 

All of the die cut detail has been cut from metallic pencil coloured Colorista Dark pages. You can clearly see the wonderful shine on the embossing on both the main image and the die cuts. 
It creates a 'stained glass' effect for your colouring.  
These pads and pencils really are a fabulous addition to the Colorista family.

When the red, red robin....

Hello to all.  I made this card for my best beloved, it was his birthday recently. 
 He loves Robins and has had many visiting the garden for mealworms over the past few years.  
The image is coloured using Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils.

Spreading the Colorista Love!

Hello to all.   My daughter Emma is interested in mandala patterns and has had her eye on my Spectrum Noir Colorista Marker Pad - Eastern Promise.   She took it home the other night, along with some of my markers and had lots of colouring fun.  
Here is her first ever colouring.  I think she did really well!

Emma's colouring is on the Spectrum Noir FB page where she features as Guest Designer!

 She is thrilled and rates the pad and the pens as awesome!  

She was particularly impressed by the quality of the paper in the colouring pads.  

This project is destined to become the frontpage of her journal!
