Colorista HSN world launch!

Hello to all!  So excited, as the fabulous Colorista range from Spectrum Noir has been launched by Sara on HSN.  Its been a complete delight to work with these products and to see the fabulous samples, made by the DT, showcasing this stunning range.

Sharing an sample from the In Full Bloom Premium Marker Pad -Travel Size, with colourable glitter.  It really is an amazing colouring experience to work with these pads.  The glitter transforms your ink and is so much fun to colour on!  Lots of blending has been used on this colouring and its so easy to create depth and shade on the glitter detail.

I thought it would be fun to colour a couple of images in similar tones and mount these into matching frames.  I call them Tropical Sunshine!
This image is also from the In Full Bloom Pad - Travel Size and they sparkle and shimmer when the light catches the colourable glitter!

For this sample I was experimenting adding depth and detail to a colouring by adding pencils to marker colouring.  It really makes your artwork pop!   This is from the Under the Sea - Premium Marker Pad - Travel Size, which is full of fun undersea images.

Sharing a screen shot from the launch show.  So pleased to see some familiar samples featured between Sara and the presenter.

Happy crafting fun to all.

Colorista Blog Hop Winners!

Just a quick update to let you know that the Colorista Blog Hop has closed and you can find a list of the winners here.   Congratulations to all of the blog hop winners.

I made a shabby/chic style wall hanging with coloured glitter papers.  This is an A4 Colorista pad sheet cut into heart shapes, mounted on corrugated card which has been distressed and painted with gesso and gilding wax.

Colorista fun colouring!

Hello to all.  I have been having loads of fun colouring the fabulous new pads and items from the Spectrum Noir Colorista range.
The world launch with Sara is on HSN on 30th August. For those of us in the UK this provides an ideal opportunity to have a sneak peek at what will be available very soon.
I have seen a lot of my samples shared across various Crafter's Companion/Spectrum Noir media. So exciting!

Sharing a card made with a travel size marker pad 'In Full Bloom'.  The page is glittered and the glitter is a complete joy to colour on with markers!  I have used many types/brands of papers for colouring and can honestly say that these are superior quality colouring pads. The images come in several formats and this one is also in the A4 glittered pad and its lush!  Image is also on the USB!

This image is one of my favourites from the 'In Full Bloom' pad.  Its so cute!  You can be as detailed as you want with the colouring, or keep it simple.  Its up to you. Again its a glitter pad page and the image is available in several formats.  The edges of the frame have been distressed with gilding wax!

Sharing this cutie to show the added foil detail.  It really is lovely and the papers are all beautiful.  I decorated this wall hanging.   I have used Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens on the foil, painting the pigment straight onto the foiled page.

Lots of crafty fun to all,
