I'm a big Fan of Little China Girl

Good evening to you all from the UK.  We are having some really dreadful weather here, lots of flooding.  I hope this finds you safe and well wherever you may be.

My card for this evening is Little China Girl from D'arcy Diaries and she is lovely.  I have been aware of these images for a while, as I am a great fan of Teddy Bea but have just recently started to purchase these.  Drawn by the hugely talented Gayle Cook these are wonderful images to work with.

List of Materials used to make this card:

Wonderful image Little China Girl, coloured using Promarker Pens and Polychrome Pencils. Mounted on Spellbinder dies.  I have used lots of lovely lilac/purple shades.
Base of card is 6" x 6" Core'dinations cardstock.  I have cut the front panel and inserted an acetate panel behind this.
This is a recycle card as the design paper is from a gift bag from a very well know high street retailer featuring glittered butterflies.  Ribbon and butterfly tag on the inside of the card were also supplied with the bag.
Further die cuts are glittered fans created by my and glitter and decorated with glitter.  These were made with a SCAD cutting die.
Flowers are from my stash.  I have used a few gold fan peel offs.

Image showing front and inside of card viewed through acetate panel.

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges:

Image of the inside of the card showing designer papers, tag, double sided fans mounted on acetate.  I have provided a greeting panel with a smaller image for recording of a greeting.  I have seen lots of crafters using this technique recently and this it is a great detail on your card.

Thank you so much for reading this post and looking at my card.  My husband has just walked in with a sleeping bag and I think he is planning to climb into this to watch television this evening.  How long will it be before he is fast asleep?  Bless.

Sending warmest to you all.

Under my Umbrella

Hello to you all on this dark, miserable and wet afternoon.  Autumn has really arrived here in the UK and it is freezing.  It's 5pm and getting dark.  You can feel winter in the air.
Enough moaning from me.  I have finished the local weather forecast.

My card is really suitable for a day like today, she may be a bit cold without her coat.

List of Materials used to make this card:

Wonderful image Under my Umbrella from D'arcy's Diary.  She is so cute and I have made her umbrella and dress using the Paper Piecing Technique.  The image is also coloured using Promarker Pens and Polychrome Pencils which I love and cut using a Spellbinder Die.
Card base is 7" x 7" Centura Pearl and mats have been cut out using a Martha Stewart Round the edge punch technique and I am seeing this everywhere at the moment.
The designer paper is from my stash and is I think from Kaisercraft.
I have used lots of crystal bling, flowers, feather, ribbon which is vintage seam binding.  and a lovely little crown charm from my stash reading 'Princess' and I think she is or perhaps Diva might be appropriate.
