Lady on the Stairs

Happy Day to everyone.  Today's card brings a little French summer warmth and memories of sunny days and warm days to come.  I have used a mix of Stamps to make this card and have had a lot of fun planning and making the card.  The inspiration for the card style can be found here at The Artistic Stamper.

I would like to enter this card for the following Challenges :o)

I have had fun making this card.  The backing paper was plain and I have used a variety of stamps from my stash to decorate and distress inks to add colour.  The main image is from Serendipity Stamps and the lady is from Clarity Stamps.  These images have been coloured using ProMarker Pens and more distress Inks.

I have used paper lace from Cheery Lynn Designs, twine, buttons and some extra butterfly stamps to decorate the card.

A closer view of the front image on the card.

Details of the inside of the card   I have folded a piece of 12' x 8' card to make a 6' x 6' card with pockets.  Again lots of distress ink and stamping was done.  A manila label has been coloured, stamped and ribbon has been added and a label has been added to each pocket.

Thank you for reading this post.  I hope you like this card.

Sending warmest wishes to all.

Casting Down Imagination Fairy Book Style Card

Greeting to everyone this lovely sunny winter afternoon.  Hope the weather is being kind to you.  My card for today features the wonderful Digital Stamp - Casting Down Imagination from Crafts and Me.  Drawn by Sara Burrier this really is a beautiful image.

I would like to enter this card for the following Challenges :o)

The Tutorial for this card can be found here.  I have used the tutorial a couple of times now, it is straightforward and easy to use and makes a lovely size of card - approx 6' x 6'.  I enjoy the folding technique for the 'book' insert.  The papers are all from my stash and the card is mostly in shades of pink and some white.  The lovely image from Crafts and Me has been coloured in using ProMarker and FlexMarker pens and glittered with Stickles.  I have die cut the image and mounted this on a doily and a couple of die cut panels.  The Swirls are Die-namic Die Cuts and the corner flourish is made using a Spellbinder die.  The flowers are Cheery Lynn Designs - mini roses and I love making these at the moment.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and is vintage Seam binding and the Pins and lovely silver coloured beads are from my stash.  The edging of the card and 'book' are created using a Martha Stewart punch.  The hearts and gems are from my stash, as is the lace.

Image showing the inside of the card.  One side is decorated with a die cut flourish and two die cut panels.  Inside of the panels is a distressed edge label for recording of a greeting, this is decorated with two Marianne Heart Die Cuts coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  The folding of the 'book'  is shown on this image, this has also been distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Inks.  A Spellbinder die cut has been used to mount the On you Birthday Stamp which is from Lili of the Valley.

Loving Bunnies from Lili of the Valley

Hello again, this is my second post of today.  I had a fun crafting Sunday yesterday and I hope you like the results.  This card features bunnies from Lili of the Valley.  I have had this stamp for a couple of years and it really is a favourite.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges :o)

This is my first stamping project using Kraft Paper and I am really pleased with the result.  The Christmas wrapping paper I bought this year had rolls of Kraft paper in the middle and I am reusing this for my stamped images, so Kraft paper for free.  It stamps fabulously and I think has coloured well.  I used my Prismacolour Pencils. The image was then mounted onto a further Spellbinder Die cut and onto the front of the card.
The backing paper is 6 x 6 Prima Romantique and I love the colours in this pack, very subtle.  I have used the same paper to decorate the inside of the card.  The papers are a duck egg shade of blue and the ribbon matches.  I have also added lace and some cream/white flowers from my stash.
Further Spellbinder Die Cuts have been used to decorate the card and to mount the Anniversary Greeting also from Lili of the Valley.  The white border on the card is made using a Martha Stewart border punch.

A Closer view of this so sweet image and greeting.

Showing the inside of the card  using further matching dies plus Spellbinder toppers to record a greeting and Marianne Designs Die Cut Hearts.  I hope you like this card.  I really enjoyed making this one.

Thank you for reading this post.

Hope this finds everyone well.

Valentine Hat Favour Box Card

Happy Day to all.  I did say I had an idea for a hat card and here it is.  It looks much better in reality as the image flattens the decoration.  I think I may have got slightly carried away.

The hat is mounted on a circle card which has a greeting panel on the inside.  The papers used are Hot of the Press and I have used lace, tulle, feathers, pins and flowers to decorate.  I also die cut some hearts and butterfly and made a greeting tag.   It looks like a little cake and is very sweet.

Showing the inside of the Favour box which has been made using matching papers. This made my old brain work, trying to build the box and the card to match. Thank you for reading this post.

Hope you like the box.

Sending love to all

Romantic Times Valentine's Card

Warmest Greetings to everyone on this wild, wet and windy day.  I have not listed a card for a couple of days and wanted to get this card posted.  I will be making a matching envelobox for the card

The main image is a little square from Lilli of the Valley which I have coloured and mounted as a Valentine's Day Easel Card.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges :)

The backing paper for the card is from HOTP and I have used a variety of cutting dies which have been coloured with Cosmic Shimmer Mist in pink and gold.  I have used red glitter to decorate the edging hearts of the main image and the flowers are Cheery Lynn miniature roses and flourish which are coloured with ink and chalk pads.  I have made the Sentiments and they are printed onto quality card.  Other embellishments, lace and ribbon are from my stash.  The bottom of the Easel card has a heart pocket which I had planned to place the tag ( tag created using a Go Kreate cutting die) into but I think it looks nicer on top of the pocket

Image showing further details of card and embellishments.  Thank you for reading this post.  I hope you like my card.

Sending warmest wishes to all
