Frosty the Snowman

Happy Sunday to all.  Today's card from me features the fun Frosty image from Butterfly Kisses.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

This lovely clear stamp has been coloured using ProMarker pens and glittered.  The image is fun as it contains a back and a front and I have mounted this onto the front of the card using lovely blue fine metal wire.  I have used lots of die cuts and glitter card to make the decorations for the card I am very attached to my new Memory Box dies at present.  The other dies are Spellbinders and Marianne Design snowflakes.  The backing paper is Swell Noel Winter Wonderland from K & Company and glitter card from my stash.  The Happy Christmas and Snowman Ribbon labels are from Crafty Ribbons and the gold thread decorated ribbon I have had in my stash for a while.  Happy Christmas foiled label from Craftwork Cards mounted on a glitter die cut star.  I have also used lots of glitter Stickles.

Showing the inside of the card featuring the back of  Frosty.  Similar die cuts have been used inside the card and I have made a little circular pocket to hold another double sided snowman image which can be used to record a Christmas greeting.  There are some paper mania labels on the inside of the card.

Showing Frosty out of his pocket.  I have enjoyed making this card.  I usually have no idea what I am going to do when I start to make a card and they grow round the image and more ideas develop.  I find this lots of fun and hope you like the end results.  Thank you for reading this post.

Sending Warmest Wishes to all.

Christmas Friends

Happy Saturday to all.  Its been another really busy week for me with very little time for craft.  I have managed to make a couple of cards using Lili of the Valley - Little squares.  I have quite a collection of these and I love them.

Showing the front of the bear card.  The image has been glittered and I have used a snow marker pen to decorate.  There are various die cuts on the front of the card and some of these have been decorated using lovely silver glitter and red Stickles glitter.  The greeting topper is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon from Craft Ribbons.  The little silver stars are from my stash as is the silver mirror card.

The inside of the card is shown above.  I have used a similar image and die cuts and have provided a blank tag for recording of a greeting.  The papers are all good quality and come from my stash.

A closer view of the front of the card showing detail of image and some decoration.  My camera is not so good on close up shots and the picture is a bit fuzzy.

Christmas Bears

Happy Saturday to everyone.  Its very dull outside at the moment here but quite mild.  The perfect day for crafting.

Today's card features a Christmas Bears die cut image from Lili of the Valley  I have cut the image as a circle and mounted on lovely Christmas snowflake paper from my stash and embossed further snowflakes onto the card using Snowflakes stamps from Butterfly Kisses and white/glitter embossing powder.

I would like to enter this card for the following Challenges:

I have used two new cutting dies from Memory Box to decorate the front of the card - Frosty Border and Flowering Christmas Tree.  The images are glittered and decorated with little pearls.  A fabulous Happy Birthday Ribbon has been used from Crafty Ribbons.  Flowers are from my stash and I think from Wild Orchid Crafts and these have also been glittered and I have used a cute little silver Christmas Tree Charm.  The greeting on the front of the card is Happy Christmas to match the ribbon.

The image has been mounted on the inside of the card.  Glitter and a snow marker pen have been used on the image.  Papers and embossing match the outside of the card and glittered Frosty Border die cuts have again been used.   I have cut a bordered circle in the front of the card and you view the image, mounted on the inside of the card through this circle.

A closer view of the super cute image.

The back of the card featuring matching paper, this has not been embossed and a distressed die cut panel has been mounted for recording a seasonal greeting.

Sweet Little Birdhouse.

Happy Saturday to all, its been a lovely early Autumn day here and the sun has been out.  It does make you feel better.

Today's card I  have called Sweet Little Birdhouse and I have had lots of fun with this one.  I would like to enter this card in the following challenges;

I used a template from Craftwork Cards to make the birdhouse shape for the cards and covered with papers from my stash.  I have used Versimark Ink and Melt Dust Copper Embossing Powder to stamp and emboss the images on the card.  These stamps are all part of a fabulous set  Cl- 329 from Crafty Individuals and these have been a delight to work with.  I also used a Brass Charm embellishment on the front of the card from Craft Individuals.  I have embossed the border trims with liquid pearl drops and used vintage seam binding and flowers from my stash to decorate the front of the card.  I have used distressing ink 'Vintage Photo' from Tim Holtz on the edges of the card and I think it looks very shabby chic.

A closer view of embossed stamp details and decoration on the card and distressing of edges.

Floral decoration on top of card and showing image of inside greeting.

I have made a pocket inside of the card using a Kanban topper and greeting.  I have used another topper to fit inside the pocket.   This has a ribbon and bird charm embellishment from Crafty Individuals.

Showing the inside of the card with embellished images, distressing to edges and detail.  I have really enjoyed making this card as it got my old brain working.  I hope you like it, thank you for reading this post.

I am having a lot of problems leaving comments on other crafter's blogs.  I like to look at all of the card in challenges I have entered and have tried, so many times, to leave comments and been unable to.  It is very frustrating.  I would like to take this opportunity to say what stunning work is done by crafters and to thank you all for the joy you provide with your work.  It really makes my day to see a stunning card.  Your work is all appreciated even when comment is unable to be made.

 Sending warmest wishes to all.
